Red is the colour of sweet sweet strawberries

Red is the first colour of the rainbow

Red is the colour of poppies

and roses blooming

Red is the colour of the autumn leaves

Red is the colour of the Coke  logo

Red is the colour of booming fire

Cromwell was usual enough

It had a lake, a dairy, a park, a school

And even a few greenways twisting through town

My friends and i do what boys do:

play fight swim and play

And sometimes just sit on the couch

Doing nothing important.
